Part-time blended learning course content combined with face-to-face workshops in Dubai

The course is a part-time blended learning programme delivered through face-to-face course workshops and interactive part-time blended learning. It requires a total of 150 hours of study per unit (approximately 15 hours per week).

This blended-learning course includes invaluable face-to-face workshops, which span six days and are held twice each year in global hubs like Manchester, Shanghai, Singapore, or Dubai.

    Entry Requirements

    Degree Requirements

    • You should have a UK 1st or 2:1 Bachelor's honours degree or an international equivalent. A Master's degree is also acceptable. 
    • Preferred subjects include engineering, mathematics, business, economics, science, or related fields. However, degrees in any discipline are considered if you demonstrate strong numeracy and analytical skills.

    Alternative Entry Criteria for Eligible Candidates

    • Candidates with a 2:2 honours degree may be considered if they have relevant professional experience and strong quantitative grades. 
    • An interview may be required to demonstrate suitability and motivation for the course.

    English Language Requirements

    For Non-native English Speakers: You must meet one of the following:

    • IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.5, with no less than 6.5 in writing and no subsection below 6.0.
    • TOEFL: Internet-based score of 90+, with at least 22 in writing and no section below 20.
    • Cambridge CAE or CPE: Score of 176 or above overall, with 176 in writing and no subsection below 169.
    • Pearson Test of English: Score of 59 or more overall, with a minimum of 59 in writing and no subsection below 51.

    Exemptions

    • Completion of a degree-level qualification, taught entirely in English, recognised as equivalent to a UK bachelor's degree.
    • Currently working in an English-speaking environment where English is the primary language of communication.

    English Test Validity

    English language test results must be valid at the start date of the course and are typically valid for two years from the test date.

    • Statement of Purpose (Essay): Detailing your motivations for applying.
    • Academic Qualification Documents: Upload scanned copies of your degree certificate(s) and transcript(s). Provide a certified translation if the original documents are not in English. Include the grading scale if the degree is from a non-UK university.
    • CV: Should be clear, well-formatted, and no longer than two pages, detailing your academic credentials and professional experience.

      Details of all your qualifications, including your Bachelor's degree, any Master's degree, postgraduate diplomas/specialisations and professional qualifications.

      If you have work experience, please include the following: Each job you have taken since graduating from your undergraduate degree in reverse chronological order, starting with your current position. Include the month/year start and end date, company name and job title for each position undertaken.
    • Reference: One reference is required at the time of application. You may provide contact details for two referees who can attest to your academic or professional capabilities.

      If you do not have professional experience, choose two lecturers or professors at your last University who can provide an academic reference. If you have professional experience, you can select both referees from your work area or provide one academic and one work-related reference. If you cannot provide a reference when submitting your application form, we will send a reference template to your referees directly.

    English language proficiency:

    Ensure that you provide evidence of your English language proficiency as per the admissions requirements.
